Bag full / clog indicator
The red warning light indicates a full bag or a
blockage.
• Turn cleaner off and unplug.
• Check to see if dust bag is full. If yes, replace it.
See p. 12-13.
• If bag is not full, check for blockage in the hose or
brushroll / nozzle head.
Air path clean-out
• To check nozzle head, open hinged door exposing
air path.
• Use finger to check for and clear debris.
• Once debris is cleared, close door making sure it
is securely locked in place.
Clearing the wand and hose
• Use a rod or similar blunt implement to clear a
blockage in wand or hose.
• Sometimes an obstruction can be cleared by
squeezing or flexing the hose. Use extreme care
if there is a risk that glass, nails or other sharp
objects could be imbedded in the hose.
Note:
Warranty does not cover any damage to the
hose caused by cleaning it.
Brushroll check light
If the red light stays off, the brushroll is operating
correctly.
• If the red light turns on and/or the brushroll stalls,
the cleaner will turn off automatically. Unplug
electrical cord. Push the power switch to OFF to
reset.
Turn power switch to ON position and wait
a moment. After turning switch ON, expect a short
delay before motor starts.
• Step on handle release pedal to lay cleaner flat;
turn cleaner over.
• Check and clear any obstructions to the brushroll.
Use scissors to clip threads or strings. Remove
brushroll if needed. See p. 14-15.
• If there is no blockage, raise the brushroll higher
before using again.
