3.3.3 DS3 Loopback

The DS3 Loopback menu:

Used to:

1. Control of Local Loopback in Framer (Digital Interface).
2. Control of Local

and

Line Loopback in LIU (Analog Interface).

When a Local Loopback is enabled, all data that is output by the Transmitter will be routed to the Receiver.
Local Loopback is illustrated on Figure 3.2.3-2.
