Fig.1.2.
Three phase power supply 3/400/50-60, three phase motor 230/400V or 400V
without thermal protection (automatic reset)
The frequency inverter will start automatically when it receives the supply voltage.
4.2. CONSTANT PRESSURE MODE (PI CONTROL)
This operating mode is used to guarantee a certain overpressure value in one room with respect to
another. Examples of this application: stair overpressure, fl ow control systems through pressure in
multi-zone ventilation controlled demand systems.
To start up this system, it is essential to have a differential pressure sensor with display, 0-10V
analog output and confi gurable scale ranges (S&P, model
5416731400 TDP-D
).
ATTENTION: By confi guration, the PI control will choose the pressure associated with the 5V val-
ue of the 0-10V incoming analog signal as the set point. Therefore, if the selected pressure range,
for example, is 0-100Pa, the system will seek to maintain a value of 50 Pa in the over pressured
chamber. Before starting the system, check this point.
For systems where it is necessary to modify the set point associated with the 5V value, see chap-
ter 5, sections 5.1 and 5.11.

4.2.1. Wiring diagrams
The PI mode will be enabled as long as the drive-motor connection diagrams indicated in the
following fi gures are followed depending on the type of motor used (without thermal protector):
•
Fig.2.1.
Single phase power supply 1/230/50-60, three phase motor 230/400V without
thermal protection (automatic reset)
•
Fig.2.2.
Three phase power supply 3/400/50-60, three phase motor 230/400V or 400V
without thermal protection (automatic reset)
The VSD will start automatically when it receives the supply voltage and will per-
form the PI control functions described. In the case of opting for a scheme with
external “stop / start”, it must be in “start” position for the corresponding auto-
matic reset upon voltage reception.
