Ⅳ. ADJUSTMENT

5. Lens Shading

A. Purpose
The characteristic of Lens makes the outside of the image be dark. This phenomenon is called “Lens Shading”.
This adjustment is for compensating the brightness of the outside of the image.
After calculating the darkness, this adjustment will increase the brightness of the outside of the image up to 80%
of the center of the image.

B. Behavior
[Description of the algorithm]

①

After taking an image, check the brightness of the center and the corners of the image.

②

Calculate the Lens shading compensation table.

③

After adapting the table, check the availability of the brightness value.

④

Depending on the result, decide OK or NG.

[Standards for the Adjustment]
- Specification of the tools : Light source that can block the external light source
- Color temperature : 3200K ± 50
- Brightness : LV 8.2±0.1 (±0.05 recommended)

C. Spec (Standard for checking defect)

①

If the brightness of the 4 corners are over 75% brighter than that of the center, the adjustment is complete.

②

You can decide the result by the brightness rate.

D. Procedure

①

Save the adjust103.txt and adjust_t files on the Root directory of the SD card and insert the card.
