Ⅳ. ADJUSTMENT
4. Shutter Close Time
A. Purpose
As the characteristics of the Mechanical Shutter, it has delay when it is closed. Every lens has declination of the
delay. This delay is not problem in normal shooting condition, but in high speed shutter mode, the brightness can be
affectedThis is for adjusting the mechanical shutter closing delay time.
B. Behavior
[Description of the algorithm]
① Check the shutter closing delay time to meet 1/1500 second.

Check the brightness in the Liveview mode.
③
Decide the availability of the brightness.
④
Check the brightness of the Capture mode.
⑤ Calculate the differences between the brightness of the Liveview mode and Capture mode.
⑥ By changing the delay time, check the brightness of the image.
⑦ Repeat the check until the available delay time is taken.
⑧ Depending on the availability, decide OK or NG.
[Standards for the Adjustment]
- Specification of the tools : Light source that can block the external light source
- Color temperature : 3200K ± 50
- Brightness : LV 14 ± 0.1
C. Spec (Standard for checking defect)
- From the PV-2 steps, the adjustment actualizes. The followings are temporary standard.

-4300 < shutter closing delay time < -3500 (SS_Delay_Time)
