CONNECTING THE NETWORK VIDEO DECODER DIRECTLY
TO DHCP-BASED DSL/CABLE MODEM

Use a cross cable to connect a computer and the Network Video Decoder.

Run the IP Installer and change the IP address of the Network Video Decoder so
that you can use the web browser on your desktop to connect to the Internet.

Access the Network Video Decoder using an Internet browser.

Move to [

Setup

] page.

Move to [

Network

] – [

Interface

], and set the network type to [

DHCP

Connect the Network Video Decoder, which was removed from your PC, directly to
the modem.

Restart the Network Video Decoder.


