Connecting Audio In/Out
1.
Connect a microphone to the network camera or encoder, and set Audio setting of
corresponding device to <
ON
>.
2.
Set Network AUDIO SETUP to ON in Video Decoder’s single layout settings, and
select its output from Line Out and HDMI out in Audio Settings. Note that HDMI
OUT for audio output can be selected only when the monitor out is set to HDMI.
3.
When using Line Out, connect the speaker’s LINE IN and Network Video Decoder’s
AUDIO OUT terminals.
4.
For HDMI output, connect an HDMI monitor to HDMI port.
For HDMI audio output, a monitor with built-in speaker is required.

There is some possibility that HDMI audio doesn’t work with some specific monitors.
