Using My Words Options
1. Select a word or phrase from the My Words
list and press the
Options
soft key.
2. Scroll to one of the following options and
press the
Select
soft key:
•
Edit Phrase
: allows you to change the
word or phrase and then the name assigned
to the item.
•
Create Phrase
: allows you to add a new
word or phrase.
•
Delete Phrase
: allows you to delete the
item. When a confirming message appears,
press the
Yes
soft key.
•
Select Phrase
: allows you to insert a word
or phrase to your text.
Using Quick English Mode
This mode allows you to enter English words
with only one key press per letter. Each key on
the keypad has more than one letter; for
example, when you press the
5
key once, J, K,
or L displays. Quick English mode automatically
compares your key presses to an internal
linguistic database to determine the correct
word.
The English mode requires far fewer keystrokes
than the traditional multi-tap method, English
mode.
3. Enter a character to assign a name to the
word you added. If necessary, press the
C
key
to clear the characters.
4. Press the
OK
soft key.
The word or phrase is added to the My Words
list. The item is saved separately, depending
on the mode you select.
Using My Words
1. Press the right soft key when you are creating
text.
2. Select
My Words
using the Up or Down key
and press the
Select
soft key.
3. Press the
key to select the mode you want.
4. Select the word you want using the Up or
Down key.
Or, enter a few letters of the name you want
to find. The word you added displays.
5. Press the
Select
soft key. The word is
inserted in your text.
