Setting the Phone System Options

In this menu, you can customise the Roaming, Call Meters
and DTMF options to suit your preferences.

To set up the phone system options:

1. On the Phone screen, tap

Setting

at the bottom of the

screen and select

System

.

You can also access this mode from the Launcher mode

by tapping

→

Phone Setup

→

System

.

2. Tap

Roam Option

,

Call Meters

or

DTMF

tab at the

bottom of the screen to access the option you want to
set.

Roam Option

This option enables you to choose how your phone roams.
Roaming is a feature which is only relevant in areas
where there are usually at least two cellular service
providers that have valid roaming agreements. Your
service provider can provide you with information about
this service or the best roaming method for you.

The following options are available:

Home Only

: You cannot roam. When your home system

is not available, your call can not be connected and the

No Service icon (

) displays. In some service areas, an

operator may come online asking you how you would like
to pay for the call.

Automatic

: This option allows you to connect to the best

system automatically.
