The Quality Setting

You can affect how much your photo is compressed, 
thereby reducing it’s overall size (not to be confused 
with resolution). 

1.

In standby mode, press the 

Menu

Once the quality setting of your choice is highlighted,

Zoom in on a Subject

Your camera has digital zoom capabilities of up to x4 in 
Low resolution mode (x2 in Medium). Pictures may 
appear somewhat grainy as you zoom in; this is a 
normal result of digital enhancement.

In camera mode, press the navigation left/right keys to 
zoom in and out on your subject.

Press the

picture.
