Right-click the
Security Platform
(
) icon inthe
Taskbar and select
Personal Secure Drive > Load
.

Enter the user password in the Load window for
Security Platform user authentication and click the
OK
button.

Select
Start > My Computer
(or
Start > Computer)
.
Then you can confirm that a Personal Secure Drive
has been created.
Please note that even if you have copied confidential
data to the PSD, the original file is not protected by the
PSD.
If you have to re-register as a user due to a hard disk
drive fault, you can initialize the authentication
information saved on the TPM chip and reconfigure it.
When initializing a TPM chip, all authentication
information saved on the TPM chip is deleted.
Before initialization, decrypt all encrypted files. If you do
not decrypt the files, you will not be able to access the
encrypted files after initialization.
Initializing a TPM Chip

Prior to initialization, delete the specified folder
according to the following procedures.
Select the
Start > Computer > Configuration > Folder
and Search Options > View
tab and then select the
Hidden files and folders
option of the
Hidden files and
folders item
.
Select
Start > Computer
and double-click
Drive C
:.
Double-click the
Program Data
folder and delete the
Infineon
folder.
