2. Product Specifications and Description

2.12.1. Main Controller (Main Board)

The main controller consists of the main processor(Chorus4N), memory(DDR3 2GB), flash(128MB), 1G Ethernet
PHY,USB2.0 HUB, Micom(Power/Fuser control), can/Video/UI/FAX signal interface connection, motor driving IC, Engine
signal interface connection, power interface.

The main processor (Dual Core 1GHz CPU) controls video, engine, UI display and communicates the various devices. The
HDD is connected to the main controller by SATA cable and to the other device (ADF, DCF, Finisher, Modem) by UART.
