Phone Settings
You can customize various phone settings.
1.
In Idle mode, press the
Menu
soft key to access Menu mode.
2.
Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the
Settings
icon. Press the
Select
soft
key or the
key to enter the menu.
3.
Highlight the
Phone settings
option and press the
Select
soft key or the
key. The following options display:
Language
This menu allows you to select a display language for Text language and Input mode.
Choose from Automatic, English, Français, and Español.
Greeting message
This menu allows you to set a text greeting to be displayed briefly when the phone is
switched on.

Slide settings
You can configure what action the phone will take when a particular sliding action is
taken. The top portion of the phone can either slide open or closed.
1.
Highlight the
Up
option and then use the
Left
or
Right
Navigation key to
select the action the phone will take when the cover slides up:
Accept call
or
None
.

When the
Accept call
option is selected, you can simply slide open the phone to
answer an incoming call. When
None
is selected, you must press a key to
answer the incoming call, depending on the answer setting.
2.
Highlight the
Down
option and then use the
Left
or
Right
Navigation key to
select the action the phone will take when the cover slides down:
Stop
operation
or
Continue operation
.
3.
Press the
Save
soft key when you are finished changing your settings;
otherwise press the
Cancel
soft key.
