Before using the terminal
Using Quick search box
You can search information including entered word in the terminal or
on the Internet.

From the Home screen, tap Google Search widget
• The quick search box appears.
• When you enter characters in the quick search box, information and
search suggestions in the terminal including the entered characters
appear below the quick search box.
• If Google information screen appears, follow the onscreen
instructions.

An entered character appears.

All entered characters are deleted.
Tap before entering character, you can enter words you want to search by
voice sound (only for web search).

• Alternatively, from the Home screen, tap "Google" → "Google" to
activate Quick search.
Recently-used apps

• Tap a thumbnail of app to activate the app.
• Tap "CLOSE ALL" to remove the list.
• Scroll/flick thumbnail left or right to delete it from the list.
• Tap to activate split screen view (P.46).
• Some apps can be activated in pop-up view. Touch and hold an app
→ Drag it to "Drop here for pop-up view".
• If the "Pin windows" (P.114) is set to ON, appears in the
thumbnail of app which has been displayed just before.
Pinning apps to the screens
Pins apps to the screens so that other apps cannot be used.
• The "Pin windows" (P.114) needs to be set to ON in advance.

• To release app pinning, simultaneously press and hold [History
button] and [Back button].
