Before using the terminal

Confirm entered characters.
• When entered characters are already fixed, perform feature (entering linefeed/
next/done/search/execute/move) of the entered text box.

Moves cursor left or right.
• Tap to enter a character assigned to the same key in a row on 3x4 Keyboard.
• When "Wildcard Prediction" is set to ON, wildcard prediction can be used (P.34)
by tapping .

Switch an unconfirmed character to the one in reverse order of when you tap
the key (Does not switch when using flick input).

Put a voiced sound mark or the Japanese voiceless bilabial sound mark.
Switch upper/lower case etc.
Information
• For Moji-Henshu, connection by mobile network is required. It may not
be available via Wi-Fi connection.
Using Wildcard Prediction
Wildcard Prediction is a function to narrow down conversion options by
entering numbers of the reading of word etc.
• It is available when "Predictive text" and "Wildcard prediction" are set to
ON.
Example: Entering " 東京都"

When the keyboard is displayed, enter "と" "う"

Tap 4 times
• "とう○○○○ " is displayed and " 東京都 " is displayed in the predictive
conversion options.
• Tap / to change the numbers of reading.

Selecting/Copying/Cutting/Pasting text

While the keyboard is displayed, touch and hold entered
character string

Item Description
CUT Cut out selected character string.
COPY Copy the selected character string.
PASTE Paste copied/cut character string.
SELECT ALL Select all entered characters.
Others Display clipboard, share, use dictionary, etc.
Information
• In horizontal view display, the display may be different.
• For some apps, the function may not be available or there may be
unavailable functions. And display of icon may be different or items
not shown in Step 2 may be displayed.
• Touch and hold an entry field in which any characters are not entered
to display a menu so that you can use"PASTE", "CLIPBOARD", or
"SELECT ALL" (For some apps, it may be unavailable).
