Before using the terminal
■ Direct share
Directly share contents with the specified other party from the share
panel.
Information
• If excessive movement (shakiness, impact, etc.) is given to the
terminal, Motion may not function correctly because of sensor
characteristic.
• If you wear dark color glove or perform gesture operation out of
the sensor recognition range, Gesture may not function correctly
because of sensor characteristic.
• Smart alert may not work normally depending on the terminal
settings.
• Methods of using multiple accounts in a same app with Dual
Messenger vary by app.
• To delete second app which created with Dual messenger, on Dual
Messenger screen, tap of app you want to delete → "UNINSTALL".
Note that if the primary (main) app is deleted, the second app is also
deleted.
Using Bixby
Bixby app displays information from apps collectively. If you register
your Galaxy account, it analyzes your terminal usage, etc. to display
recommended information, etc.
• You can use this app when the Home application is set to"Galaxy home"
(P.39).

• Bixby Home appears.

Swipe the screen up or down to view information
Information
• To use Bixby, signing in to Galaxy account is required.
• Information from Bixby is automatically updated on a regular basis.
To update manually, swipe the screen down.
• You can make Bixby settings or set apps to be shown as cards on
Bixby Home, from Bixby Home, tap → "Settings".
Using Reminder
Create an event reminder to check the content later. You can check
reminders at specified time or set place.
• To use Reminder, connect Wi-Fi or mobile network.
• To use Reminder, signing in to Galaxy account is required.
• To set notification related to places, enable GPS.

• The reminder screen appears.

"Write a reminder" → Enter a reminder
• Follow the onscreen instructions to set reminder.

Information
• On Reminder screen, → "Settings" to make settings of reminder.
• To delete a created reminder, tap a reminder → → "Delete"
→ "DELETE".
• To hide a created reminder, tap a created reminder → "COMPLETE".
To check completed reminders, on Reminder screen, tap →
"Completed".
• When you use reminder, an icon of the reminder appears on the apps
screen. Tap the icon to activate the reminder.
