Required mounting kits
For attachment with positioner 024.16.3XX, the mounting kit with SED match code 0002416.327 is required.
For attachment with positioner 024.16.25X, the mounting set with SED match code 0002416.327.1 is required.
5.2.1 Functional description
The valve type 327 is particularly suitable for control applications with demanding environmental conditions.
Depending on the positioner selected, communication systems such as HART®, PROFIBUS®, or FOUNDATION™
fieldbus are also supported, allowing positioners to be fully integrated into existing control and asset
management systems. This makes optimum use of positioner functions such as status recording or diagnostics.
5.2.2 Pneumatic connections
See corresponding installation and operating instructions under 1.1
5.2.3 Electrical connections
See corresponding installation and operating instructions under 1.1
5.3. Assembly & disassembly of the actuator
Danger
Danger of injury!
Check the device for correct assembly before implementation! Also check the tightening torque!
Only use functional, suitable and safe tools! Assembly and disassembly must only be performed by
authorized expert staff.
5.3.1. Assembly
→
Check the technical data of the valve and the materials and ensure suitability for the respective
application. The valve must be designed for the operating conditions of the pipeline system, e.g.
medium, medium concentration, temperature and pressure, as well as the respective ambient
conditions.
→
Shut down the plant or plant section and secure it against being switched on again.
→
Depressurize the system or system section.
→
Completely drain the plant or plant section.
→
Allow the plant or plant section to cool down until the evaporation temperature of the medium has
fallen below to avoid scalding.
→
Decontaminate, rinse and ventilate the system or system section properly.
→
Move actuator to open position.
→
Position the actuator (pos. 1) correctly on the valve body (pos. 2), see Fig. 2. Make sure that the
alignment of the diaphragm web and the valve body web match!
→
Position the fastening screws and tighten them hand-tight.
→
Close pneumatic actuator.
→
Tighten the screws (pos. 5) or nuts crosswise with the appropriate torque, see tables below.
