5.2.1 Mounting position

Install the regulator with the actuator
housing suspended downward (with port
C facing upward) in horizontal pipelines
(see Fig. 4).

Make sure the correct direction of flow is
used for the body design and the intend

ed use.

The ports A and B are marked on the
body.

Install the regulator free of stress.
Î
Make sure that the regulator remains
freely accessible after the plant has been
completed.
Do not attach supports directly to the regula-
tor.

5.2.2 Shut-off valves
Install a hand-operated shut-off valve (6.1
and 6.2) both upstream of the strainer and
downstream of the regulator to be able to
shut down the plant for cleaning and mainte
-
nance and when the plant is not used for
longer periods of time.
