8.3.  Airspray, low Pressure spray guns for solvent paint 2 M

Airspray Low Pressure middle resistivity spray guns include the same 

components, except the product hoses.

 

Flow limitation:

The use of a whip limits the maximum flow very little once the extension hose has an inside diameter of 9.5 

mm (3/8) as recommended.

The use of an extension of 6.3 mm inside diameter (1/4) is not recommended because it divides the maximum

 

possible flow rate by 2 for low viscosities (20s) and by 3 for higher viscosities (50s).

Resistivity limitation:

Using a whip limits the low resistivity value to 2 M

Ω

.cm (0.5 for the standard version). However if the 

application requires an electrostatic voltage lower or equal to 45kV, the minimum resistivity of the product 

can be 1M
