Before removing a component of the gun, some precautions have to be taken :
-
Empty out the paint inside the cup or the receiver.
- Fill the cup or the receiver with cleaning solvent.
- Spray the solvent until it runs clear.
- Shut off the supply air pressure of the pump.
- Trigger the gun to depressurize the circuit.
- Shut off the supply air pressure of the gun.
- Remove the part to be cleaned or changed.
Before reassemblying the different components, some precautions must be taken :
- Clean all the parts with the appropriate cleaning solvent and a brush.
- Install new seals if it is necessary after having lubricated them with PTFE grease.
- Install new parts if it is necessary.

CHANGING THE SPRAY GUN
Shut off the air and fluid feeds to the gun. Depressurize the systems.
Disassemble the gun from its base removing the 4 screws (63 or 63 and 70).
Fit the new gun on the base changing the seals (9 and 10) and replace the 4 screws
(63 or 63 and 70).

SEAT HOLDER ASSEMBLY (IND. 15) REPLACEMENT
Remove the air cap, then unscrew the seat holder assembly (15) by means of the wrench supplied
with the gun.
Loosen the cartridge stop (23) and the screw (21) by means of a screwdriver, take off the seat (19),
the PEEK seal (20) and the helicoils (18).
Check parts’ and the O-Ring (22) conditions. Change them if necessary.
Reassemble the seat (19), the PEEK seal (20) and the helicoils (18).
Tighten the screw (21) - Screwing torque : 2 Nm / 1.4752 Ft/Lbs.
Tighten the cartridge stop (23) manually.
Lubricate the seat holder thread (16) with grease.
Tighten the seat holder
(15) in the gun by means of the wrench
- Screwing torque : 10 Nm / 7.376 Ft/Lbs.
