Intersecting axis gears
On daily basis prior to work commencement check the oil level and, if needed, refill once
removing the vent

) in upper section of the gear. The oil level can be checked by opening

on the side of the gear. Refill the oil until it is visible in the check opening

oil capacity in the gear: approx. 1 L Oil level is checked after the cutterbar is set horizontally on the
ground.

NOTE
Strictly follow the above instructions. If disks on the cutterbar can move freely, high
temperature of axis gear should not be a point of concern, as in result of a long-term
operation the temperature may reach 100°C.
