6.2
After-season maintenance and storing
Upon dismounting ditch cleaner from extension arm, if idle period is longer than one month,
perform the following maintenance works:
clean the machine thoroughly from any dirt and then wash and dry it,
if need be, perform any repair, adjustment, sealing or hose replacement works,
remove any sources of corrosion and complement any paintwork defect,
protect unpainted metal surfaces with thin layer of solid grease, e.g. ŁT – 43, mineral, engine or
gearbox oil, e.g. 15W40,
complement or replace illegible warning and information decals,
protect connection nozzles of hydraulic hoses.
Ditch cleaner should be stored in standstill position in dry and clean place, which is
inaccessible to unauthorized personnel and animals, on even and paved ground under roof or other
cover protecting it from influence of atmospheric conditions.

Restarting the machine after repairs or longer storing periods
Examine torque of all bolts and nuts (
Tab. 2
).
Examine technical condition of hydraulic and drive assembly as on daily basis.
