 Program Mode 

  Sam4POS 6600/4800II Program Manual v2.12 

Automatic Backup 

We can program the SAM4POS to perform a backup automatically on a specified date and time. This 
backup will occur at the specified time and date as long as the automatic backup is checked.   

1.

 

Check the 

AUTOMATIC BACKUP

 option at the top of the screen.  

 

2.

 

In the 

REPEAT

 area, select the individual Days you wish the automatic backup to occur or select the 

Weekdays and/or Weekend selection as desired. Then set the time you want the backup to occur.  

3.

 

Select the 

PATH

 to save the backup to: 

a.

 

USB 

b.

 

Internal Storage 

c.

 

External SD Card  

4.

 

Press 

DATABASE BACKUP

, The Database Backup dialog displays. 

 

5.

 

You can use the default file name or type in a custom description for the database file. 

6.

 

Press 

OK

 to set the scheduled backup; the backup will run.
