Maintenance

● Maintenance work on electrical appliances must be carried out by the authorised Customer
Service or a qualified electrician.

Switch off the appliance and lock it out so it cannot be switched back on.
● Have the appliance inspected and serviced on a regular basis. Maintenance tasks include safety
checks, functional tests and inspections for leaks.
● Always use genuine accessories and spare parts.
● We recommend taking out a maintenance contract with the Customer Service.

Disposing of old appliances
● Before dismantling, switch off the appliance at the mains and lock it out so it cannot be switched
back on. Then disconnect the mains cable from the mains socket and from the appliance.
● Follow local and national regulations when disposing of regeneration salt/water softener.
● Old appliances are not worthless rubbish! Valuable raw materials can be recovered by environ
mentally friendly waste disposal.
● Always observe the relevant legal requirements when disposing of the appliance.
● Do not dispose of commercial electrical appliances via the municipal waste collection system or
include them in household waste.
