Drain the kettle
CAUTION! The outlet tap is hot! Splashing hot liquids!
Risk of burning!

Wear protective gloves!

Use pot holders!

Exercise appropriate caution!
Switch off appliance

Turn the rotary switch and power regulator to
the 0-position.
● The indicator lights go out.
Open the drain tap

Pull on the handle (1).
.
With the handle pulled out, swivel clockwise
(2.).
Close the outlet tap
.
Swivel the handle clockwise to the stop.
● The handle engages. The outlet tap is locked.
5.
Completion of operation
.
Turn the rotary switch and power regulator to the 0-position.
● The indicator lights go out.

Turn off the fitted mains switch.

Turn off the water tap.
