5.3
Preparing food
1.
Only use fresh ingredients and ensure greatest possible
cleanliness (hygiene) during their preparation. Work in a
sufficiently cool or cooled work environment.
2. Use bags which are suitable for Sous Vide cooking.
3. Vacuum seal the food as described in the operating manual
of your vacuum device.

Switching on low-temperature cooker

1. Switch on the device at the mains power switch.
A signal tone sounds for approx. one second. The device self-
test starts. All display elements and symbols light for approx. 1
second. The software version of the device is displayed for a
short time. The current cooking temperature is shown in the dis­
play afterwards.
