4.1
Placement of low-temperature cooker
WARNING!
Falling/overturning of the device on an incline/edge of
a table
Crushing of hands and feet

Only position the device on level surfaces, away from
table edges!
Also note the following:
□ For transport by hand: note weight of the device and wear
protective gloves.
□ Do not cover the ventilation openings on the rear side of the
control panel.
□ Do not store any flammable objects or liquids in the imme
diate vicinity of the device.
□ When placing the device on narrow tables: secure the table
against tipping over, e.g. by screwing to the wall or floor.
Place the device on a table or similar base.
□ The support surface must be leak-tight, flat, level, non-slip,
free from vibration and not flammable,
□ not on heated or flammable surfaces,
□ not on flammable walls.
4.2
Requirements for the water
Note the following requirements for the water:
□ Tap water can have a high calcium carbonate (lime) content.
The parts of the device coming into contact with water can
calcify.
‒ After emptying, wipe the cooking tank and the cover dry
with a cloth. In doing so, light lime scale deposits will be
removed.
‒ Remove stubborn lime scale deposits in the cooking tank
with a decalcifier.
□ Ultra pure water (from ion exchangers), distilled and double
distilled water are unsuitable due to the corrosive action.
□ Water containing iron (rust formation) and water containing
chlorine (pitting corrosion) are not suitable.
□ Do not add any salt to the water.
