PRECAUTIONS
Placement, insertion, fixing
When installing the device, make sure that it will not be subjected to the following stresses:
- direct sunlight or heat (e.g. from the heating system)
- moisture, high humidity
- more dust
- stronger vibration.
The device must be secured to the original rear-view mirror of the vehicle by means of the rubber bands provided.
Periodically check the condition of the rubber bands and secure attachment. Attention! Due to frost and sunshine,
the rubber bands age naturally and over time they can no longer be securely fastened and need to be replaced.
The product is fragile, and moving it while driving can create an accident-prone situation! If you do not use it for a
long time, do not leave it in a frosty or hot vehicle!
It is recommended to remove the smart mirror before service and technical exam events.
Temperature
Before switching on, make sure that the passenger compartment temperature is between 0 °C and +40 °C, as
trouble-free operation can only be guaranteed in this range. Extreme weather conditions can damage the device.
Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth for regular cleaning. Remove heavier dirt by moistening with water. Be careful not to scratch
the display, never wipe it dry or with a coarse cloth. Also support the mirror from the back while gently wiping. Do
not use cleaning agents! Do not spill liquid inside the device or on the connectors.
The product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may
contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped
off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature
and function. Dispose of the product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By
doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any
questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to
the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
• Batteries, whether alkaline or
rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the
product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that
the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment-friendly way.
