OPERATION & CONNECTION
This two-way active bass reflex loudspeaker pair is primarily suitable for hobby PA purposes such as family events. It is not
intended for professional use. The unit includes a built-in power amplifier, mixer, MP3 player and an echo circuit. After being
powered on (
POWER
switch on rear panel), the red
LED
indicator will illuminate. Two microphones can be connected at a time
(
MIC1 + MIC2
sockets) and stereo device with line level outputs (
AUDIO INPUT
RCA sockets on rear panel: e.g., TV / DVD /
CD player, radio, etc.). The microphone level (
MIC VOL
knob) and the combined volume of the four audio channels
(
VOLUME
) can be adjusted separately. Use the high (
TREBLE
) and low (
BASS
) frequency controls to adjust the tone as
required. As an extra feature, a desired level of echo can be added to the connected microphones (
ECHO
).
The connector clips on the rear panel of the active loudspeakers (
AUDIO OUT
) can be used to connect passive loudspeakers.
Only the auxiliary loudspeaker included in the package may be connected. Make sure that the connections are of proper
polarity (red: positive, black: negative). If required, the included approximately 2-meter loudspeaker cables may be extended
2
but by only a professional. Use high quality loudspeaker cables of at least 2 x 0
,
75
mm in cross section. Unprofessional
extension can cause the product to malfunction, which is not covered by the warranty.
INSTALLATION
Only connect or disconnect external equipment when the unit has been powered off. Make sure that the connectors used are
connected properly and in the proper polarity. Please route the microphone cable, the line level connecting cables and the
loudspeaker cables away from all power cables.
Disconnect the power cable from the AC socket if the unit is no longer intended to be used. Check the state of all connections
before powering on the system (
POWER
switch). The connections should be solid and short-circuit-free, and the
MIC VOL
and
VOLUME
controllers should be turned to their minimum position. Slowly increase the volume after switching on the power.
The MP3 player: USB-SD/SDHC/MMC slots
Connect the external storage to the USB-SD/SDHC/MMC slots The SD card's cut-off corner should be to the right and facing
forward. The USB device can also be inserted in one direction only. If you encounter difficulty, flip it over and try again but do not
force it! The unit will detect insertion and start playback automatically. Track memory: After removing the signal source or
powering the device off and on, playback will continue from where playback has been previously interrupted.
Warnings
• Recommended memory device file system: FAT32. Do not use NTFS formatted memory devices!
•
If the unit emits no sound, or fails to detect the USB-SD/SDHC/MMC memory, remove the memory card then reconnect it
again. If this does not solve the problem, press the INPUT button, or turn the unit off then back on again.
•
Remove the external memory card only when no playback is in progress from it otherwise the data will be corrupted.
•
After inserting the memory, playback will begin from the first track. If it was being previously listened to and not removed,
playback will continue from the track selected last, even if the unit was switched off in the meantime.
•
The special features of storage device can cause erratic operation, however, this is not a malfunction of the unit.
•
The use of USB/SD memory cards greater than 16GB in size is not recommended because access times might increase
and playback may become unstable. Only playable files should be stored on the external memory card because the
presence of extraneous data/files can slow down operation or cause malfunction.
•
The USB socket should not be used to recharge mobile phones, for example.
•
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for data loss, corruption, etc. even if the data etc. are lost while using this
product. We highly recommend backing up the data and tracks located on the connected media to a computer
beforehand.
•
Use only high-quality USB-SD/SDHD/MMC memory cards. Depending on their type or condition, even they will not
operate reliably. Their functionality is not always guaranteed.
•
Depending on the type and condition of the memory and the encoding software’s settings, the unit might not play or
display everything. The playback of copy-protected files is not guaranteed.
MAXIMUM VOLUME
All speakers must be run in prior to their intended use. In the first 30-50 hours of operation, it should only be operated at 50%
load. Under certain circumstances, you might experience distorted or poor quality sound. This can be cause by an improper
level setting on the connected unit. The system's maximum volume level is what allows you to listen to it without distortion and
in good quality.
The output level will not increase any further if the volume is raised even more, only causing additional distortion. This is
harmful to the loudspeaker and can lead to malfunction. If a microphone is connected to the amplifier, please locate it as far as
possible from the loudspeaker so as to prevent any feedback from occurring. The loudspeaker should not be aimed at the
microphone because the feedback caused will damage the speaker drivers. When using a microphone carefully increase the
volume and if feedback is noticeable, immediate reduce the volume and relocate the loudspeaker or microphone if necessary.
CARE
Use only a soft dry cloth to regularly clean the unit. Do not use any aggressive cleaners. Do not allow any liquid to enter the
inside of the unit or the connectors.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event of malfunction, switch the unit off and remove the power plug from the socket. Try switching it on again later. If the
problem is persistent, check the following notes. This guide can help in pinpointing errors when the unit has otherwise been
connected according to the directions. If required, seek the help of a professional.

•
The amplifier is switched off.
- Check the amplifier's status and operating state.
•
The loudspeaker is not connected properly to the amplifier.

Inadequate volume or sound quality
•
The loudspeaker is not connected properly to the amplifier.
- Check the loudspeaker cable polarity and inspect it for fraying/short-circuits and proper connection.
Distorted, poor quality sound
- Lower the volume. (MIC VOL, VOLUME, MP3 VOLUME)
•
The output level of the source component connected to the amplifier's input is too high, or of poor quality in the first place.
- Check the audio signal source quality and level.
