Air Bag

Warning
Severe brakes in an accident
will be very dangerous for a front
passenger who does not fasten
his belt. This may cause the front
passenger to move forward to the
frontal air bag which can inflate
and cause injuries. Due to frontal
air bag, do not use the child seat
on the front seat at all. During air
bag inflation, severe injuries of
the child may occur.
If the ignition switch is set to ON
and warning light or does
not blink for 5 seconds system
has a fault.

The air bag warning light duty
is to warn any defect in the
Supplemental Restraint System
(SRS).

Vehicle's supplemental restraint
system does not need any repair
except in the following occasions:
-If the airbag inflates it should be
replaced. Do not take it personally
and consult an authorized dealer
of SAIPA YADAK company.
- If the airbag warning light turns
on according to pages 60, 61
check the system by consulting
an authorized dealer of SAIPA
YADAK company.
Airbag systems should be replaced
after every 10 years of vehicle's
lifetime or every inflation by trained
staff of authorized dealers.

Importance of properly sitting
on the seat
The frontal air bag of front passenger
is bigger than the driver's frontal
air bag and inflates with a large
pressure. If the front passenger
does not sit properly and does not
fasten his/her belt, his/her severe
injury or even death is very likely.
It is necessary that the front
passenger seat is set at the rear
most possible position.
Do not drive the vehicle putting
your arms on the steering wheel.
Passenger should not lay his legs
on the dashboard when vehicle is
moving on.
