Question 1 - Compared to Shell option (in the License Designer
screen), what are the security settings used by Quick Shell?
Quick Shell makes use of the following security settings (by default). The dif-
ferences with the Shell option (available under the
License Designer
screen) are noted below:
■ Multi-layer level - 3. For Shell, these levels can be increased/
decreased.
■ Anti-debugging added - Yes. For Shell, you can choose to allow/
disallow debugging of your application.
■ Hides import table - Yes. For best security settings, Quick Shell hides
the import symbols. However, if the application type is not compatible
with this setting, Quick Shell automatically disables this security
setting. For Shell, you can allow/disallow hiding the import table of
your application at the time of adding a Shell feature.
■
I have used Shell SDK checked - No. For Shell, you can choose to
select/clear this option.
