INSTALLING NETWORK HASP
A network HASP key may be deployed on any server/computer within the network. Such a server is called a
network key server
. A network HASP may comprise 10,50 or 250+ licenses.
All STC products use a floating license, which means you can install any product on a limitless number of
computers. The only limitation is that on the number of concurrent users.
4.1
Installation Steps
To install a network HASP key, you must have the administrator privileges.
To enable normal operation of the products protected with a hardware or software HASP key follow the steps
below (perform these steps both on the server and on each client PC):
1.
Stop all applications protected with HASP, unplug all hardware HASP keys and reboot the
computer.

Make sure TCP ports 80 and 433 are open.

Configure Windows Firewall
. To configure Windows Firewall, you will need to open
TCP/UPD ports 475 and 1947.
Perform the same action for any other firewalls installed on the computer (if any), and
check any network nodes (within the client-server route) which may redirect or block
ports.

Add all incoming connections for ports 475 and 1945 to the exception list of your antivirus
software, or just disable your A/V.
While configuring or disabling your A/V software, check the user guide and other
documents it came with.

Install all components of STC software. All server and client components include the HASP Driver.
While installing the HASP Driver, Sentinel License Manager and Sentinel Admin Control Center web
application are also installed on each computer.
While installing the software, make sure to check out the documents which come with it.
