INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
TYPE (Fig. 6)
The EUROSIT control block is equipped with the following operating devices:
Turning knob with the following positions (1)
- closed position
- ignition and pilot light position
- thermostat button (1)
- push button (2) for operating the piezo
- manually operated tap (8) with the following settings:
completely open (
±
85% of the nominal thermal load)
Adjustable between the minimum and maximum settings of the manually operated gas tap.
off
This control valve allows both burners to burn continuously regardless of the position of the thermostat knob.
NOTE: Use of the manual valve may result in excessive gas consumption.
STARTING UP
To ignite the pilot light, turn the thermostat button (1) to position (
*
) and press it all the way in. Press button (2) once or more until the
pilot light starts to burn.
Knob (1) must remain pressed in for approximately 10 seconds after the pilot light has ignited.
The pilot light must continue to burn when the knob is released. If this is not the case, the procedure must be repeated and the knob
held pressed in for longer than 10 seconds.
The required temperature is set by turning the thermostat knob (1).
Note:
When the thermostat demands heat, it will take priority over the value set on the manually operated tap.
When using only the manually operated tap, turn the thermostat knob to its lowest position (pos.1)
When the thermostat knob is set to position (
*
), only the pilot light continues to burn; neither the thermostat valve nor the manually
operated tap can be activated.
TURNING OFF

To turn the appliance off, turn knob (1) to position
This extinguishes both the pilot light and the main burner.
Pilot light position (
*
) allows only the pilot light to burn.
After turning the appliance off, wait 5 MINUTES before attempting to relight.
