A

. The chassis.

The chassis supports the various components of the shredder. It allows the independent
movement of the machine.

B

. The engine and its drives.

The petrol or diesel heat engine is located above the shredding unit. It supplies the energy
required to drive the rotor and the hydraulic circuit’s oil pump

The engines are the Vanguard 18 Hp two-cylinder petrol engine, wo-cylinder engine, at
3600rpm. For additional information on these engine, please refer to the manufacturer’s
manual.

The outlet drive shaft is equipped with a pulley

activating two belts that drive the

shredding rotor. The tension of the belts is adjusted using the lever

The hydraulic circuit’s oil pump, located on the heat engine, activates the hydraulic motor
of the feed drum.
