9.2 Warm-up
Upon start-up, the machine activates the warm-up phase.
Wait until it is completed.
The backlight of the
“On/Off” button is flashing,
the
wording
“PREHEATING” scrolls
across the display shows
that the machine is heating
the system.
Once the heating phase is completed, the machine is ready
for use. The backlight of the “On/Off” button is steady on
and the wording "READY" is displayed.
If the machine is used for
the first time or after a
long period of inactivity,
contact
the Service
Provider to start it up.
9.3 Brewing Coffee
Make sure there is enough
water in the tank.
The machine must be set
at the right pressure and
temperature.
Insert the single-dose filter into the filter holder supplied
to brew a coffee (or the double-dose filter to brew two
cups of coffee).
Fill the filter holder with 1 or 2 doses of ground coffee,
depending on the filter used.
Use the supplied presser to press the coffee powder into
the filter. Remove any coffee residue from the edge of the
filter holder.
