3. Make sure the cuff tube is not bent.
a. The cuff tube should be on the peripheral side.
4. Wrap the cuff so that the INDEX ARTERY " " is directly over the brachial artery.
a. The brachial artery is on the inner side of the patient's upper arm.
5. Make sure that the INDEX ARTERY " " is within the
range . If outside the range, there will be greater error in the blood pressure value. In this case, use the appropriate
cuff size.
a. Attach the cuff so that the bottom edge is 1 to 2 cm from the inner side of the elbow joint.
b. The cuff should be wrapped to a tightness that roughly allows two fingers to be inserted under the cuff.
6. During measurement, keep the brachial artery on which the cuff is wrapped at the same height as the right atrium
of the heart.

•
Make sure the cuff is wrapped in the correct arm position and is at the same height as the heart.
Start measurement
1. Press the START/STOP button once, to switch on the device.
2. Attach the cuff to your arm (see “Attaching the cuff”) and make sure your posture is correct (see “Tips for proper
measurement”).
3. Press the START/STOP button to start the measurement. Inflation of the cuff starts automatically.
a. During inflation and deflation, the unit determines the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure as well
as heart rate.
b. The movement may result in inaccurate measurement results.
4. When the measurement is finished, the cuff deflates and the measurement results are shown on the display.
5. Press and hold the START/STOP button for 3 seconds to switch off the device.

•
During the measurement, the procedure will stop by pressing the START/STOP button at
any time.
•
The device can store results of 60 blood pressure measurements. However, only your current
measurement will be visible on the device display. Other measurements are available in the
archive mode.
