5. Technical safety information

The device conforms to the prescribed safety regulations. However, improper
use can result in personal injury and material damage. S.M.S GmbH cannot be
made responsible for damages caused by failure to comply with the warnings
and safety information.
Warnings and safety information
The installation and operation of the device may be carried out only
by skilled and trained personnel and only if they are familiar with the
device.
The device conforms to the state of the art and may only be connect
ed to systems approved by S.M.S GmbH.
There are no user serviceable parts inside the device and it may be
opened only by authorized personnel of S.M.S GmbH.
Alterations and modifications of the device are prohibited. S.M.S
GmbH will not be liable for resulting damages.
Prior to using the device, read the operating manual carefully and at
tentively.
The operating voltage of the device must be within the limits speci
fied under Technical Data in the operating manual. In case of failure
to comply with this, S.M.S GmbH will not be liable for resulting dam
ages.
Use all components (Xybermax XP1) only indoors. They may be oper
ated only at ambient temperatures between 0° and 40°C.
The device (Xybermax XP1) must be properly connected to the equip
otent bonding conductor.
Operate the device in such a manner that the safety glass pane above
the display cannot be damaged. If the glass is damaged, disconnect
the device from the power supply immediately.
Always comply with the relevant EX regulations specified in ATEX
137 (European operational safety regulation in accordance
with Directive 99/92/EC) and accident prevention regulations.
