5.

Fill water through the water-filling inlet hole up to the MAX level mark indicated on the

side of the iron/ water tank. Never fill above this mark. Pour the water slowly to

prevent an airlock and over filling.

6.

Close the water inlet cover and wipe off any spillages on Iron.

Note: For the best result, it is advisable to use de-mineralized water or distilled water.

Do not use chemically de-scaled water or any other liquids

SWITCHING ON THE IRON

1.

Set the temperature control to • and set the steam control to

2.

Stand the iron on its heel.

3.

Put the plug into the power socket (switch the socket on, if it's switchable).

4.

Turn the temperature control to align the setting you want next to the marker. The

light will come on.

5.

When the iron reaches the temperature you set, the light will go of. It'll then cycle on

and off as the thermostat operates to maintain the temperature.

WATER SPRAY FUNCTION

This function can be used at any time and it does not affect other functions.

1.

Water spotting affects some fabrics. Test this out on a hidden part of the fabric.

2.

Lift the iron off the fabric.

3.

Aim the spray nozzle at the fabric.

4.

Press the          button - you may have to press it 2 or 3 times to pump water through

the system.

NOTE: When using the water spray function, ensure that there is enough water in the water

tank.

BURST OF STEAM

This function works well for tough wrinkles and heavy fabrics. By pressing the burst of steam

button (      ) an intense burst of steam is emitted from the soleplate. This can be very useful

when removing stubborn creases. This function can be used once the iron has reached

maximum temperature. For optimal results, there should be a five (5) second interval

between presses of the burst of steam button.
