Fuel
Use only good quality fuel if you want to get the best out
of your fireplace. Use untreated logs with 20% maximum
residual moisture. For maximum heating efficiency (1 kg
≈
4.5 kWh), the wood should be stored in a dry area for
at least 2 months.
Wood with high moisture content provides less heat and
will also cause soot to build up on the ceramic glass
sheet.
The following should never be used as fuel:
- Damp wood, chipboard or glued wood
- Wood chippings
- Plastics and packaging materials
- Liquids, solvents
- Household waste
- Dangerous or toxic waste, medicinal products
- Electronic parts
Non-compliance will render your manufacturer’s
warranty null and void.
