Heating
About 15 minutes after loading the logs:
1 PARTIALLY CLOSE the convection air regulator*
* if the system is fitted with one
→
Push the control half in
2 Combustion air damper* completely OPEN
* if the system is fitted with one
→
Pull the control out
3 REDUCE the combustion air
→
For clean, regular combustion, slide the control to
the middle
4 REDUCE the draught using the smoke regulator*
* if the system is fitted with one
→
Turn the control until the regulator is about 2/3
closed, depending on the chimney
5 SWITCH ON the fan*
* if the system is fitted with one
→
Turn the speed control button to the central
position (about 50%)
6 OPEN the hot convection air vent completely*
* if the system is fitted with one
→
Push the control up or down
(depending on the opening direction)
The combustion air and smoke regulators must
never be closed while the fireplace is in use!
The fireplace is not designed for continuous
use!
The controls must not be completely closed as this
might cause a deflagration (the possibility of an
explosive combustion) or soot build-up and other
emissions
