14. When copying and storing is fi nished, correctly unmount the TM3
like an USB drive from the computer system! Not till then remove
the USB cable from your computer or from TM3!
ATTENTION! - Unmounting from the computer system
shall be performed to avoid damage of the copied update fi le!
15. Disconnect the power supply from TM3.
16. Wait some seconds. Then reconnect the power supply.
17. TM3 reboots and automatically executes the update. Therefor the
start-up sequence takes a little longer than usual.
18. When TM3 is back in normal operation mode, please restart it again
to asure that the Devicer DC1 gets the correct data. Then the update
is fi nished. TM3 is ready for use with the new fi rmware.
NOTE - If the download to TM3 has been interrupted and if the
incomplete fi le has been moved from RTW-TM3 to the recycle bin, an
error message about not enough memory space may be displayed on
Mac OS X® operating systems while trying again to save the update fi le
to TM3.
In this case correctly unmount the TM3 from the computer system, dis-
connect the USB cable and then empty the recylce bin. After this, the
update fi le may completely be stored to TM3.
