5.10. Changed assignment and functions
using the accessories 10220 or 11280 with
11528G
The assignments of the Sub-D remote connectors and the functions of the
keys of the 10220 case with power supply and the 11280 power pack and
bracket will change when the 11528G peakmeter (serial-no. 1500 and
above) is inserted into one of these accessories.
5.10.1. Sub-D Remote Connector (10220, 11280)
For external function selection the 15-pin Sub-D connectors of these
accessories can be used with switches or pushbuttons. Additionally the
units can be energized with 24 V DC voltage using these connectors.
The following figure shows the pin assignment:
The described switching inputs only have these functions with a 11528G
peakmeter (serial-no. 1500 and above) inserted. For activating the
switching inputs the corresponding pins have to be wired against pin 8
(common potential, active low). They partly are in parallel to the switchers
on the rear side of the cases. To avoid malfunctions the switches of not
used functions have to be in the OFF position.
