WCS-7100 Radio Programmer Help

Break In- The BK (Break-In) function allows you to break into a conversation where
the two other stations are communicating with call sign squelch enabled.  "BK"
appears on the display when this function is enabled.  Note: The BK function is
automatically turned OFF when the transceiver is turned OFF. 

Digital Repeater Set- Check to enable and store the callsign of a digital repeater
that is different than what is programmed in RPT1 and RTP2. The stored repeater’s
call sign can be re-called when selecting the repeater call sign.  This function allows
you to access a repeater on which the call sign has changed. 

DV Auto Detect-  Check to engage detection of FM signals even when operating in
digital mode.  

OFF: DV mode indicator blinks, however the transceiver receives in DV
mode even if non-DV mode signals are heard. (default)

ON: DV mode indicator blinks and the transceiver changes to FM mode for
temporary operation. 

EMR- The EMR (Enhanced Monitor Request) communication mode can be used in
the digital mode.  In the EMR mode, no call sign setting is necessary.  When an
EMR signal is received, the audio (voice) will be heard  even if the volume is set to
minimum  or digital call sign/digital code squelch is in use.  This appears to be an
mode for emergency communications that lets someone be heard on the digital
network by anyone on that frequency.  Note:  The EMR function is automatically
turned OFF when the transceiver is turned off. 

EMR AF Level- Set the audio output level for reception of an EMR (Enhanced
Monitor Request) signal.  Regardless of the volume setting of the radio, the EMR
signal will be heard at this volume.  The audio level will remain at that of this setting
after the signal drops. Adjust the audio as necessary from the face of the radio. 

Auto Reply- The automatic reply function replies with up to 10 seconds of audio.
Options include:

Off - No automatic reply is sent

On - A reply of your own call sign is sent. No audio is sent. 

Voice - Replies with your call sign and any auto reply message recorded on
the SD card. That message can be up to 10 seconds.  If no message is found
to send, your own call sign will be sent.  The transmission can be monitored. 

Note:  This option is automatically turned Off when you press the
radios PTT or Transmit button. 

Digital Monitor- Sets the desired monitoring mode during DV mode operation from
Auto, Digital, and Analog.
