Converting files with SyncIt!

SyncIt! converts video, audio, and photo files from one format to another. 
You can also use SyncIt! to transfer your media files to a portable device, 
such as an iPod®, PSP™, Windows Media device, or supported mobile 
phone. You can even transfer files to a device that is not currently connected 
to your computer. The files are stored in a temporary folder, and transferred 
the next time you connect the device.

To open SyncIt!:

From Roxio Home, select the Video-Movies project tab and choose 

Drag and Drop Convert

.

Converting files

To convert files:

In the upper-left corner of the SyncIt! application, click the 

Switch 

Mode

 drop-down, and choose 

Convert to folder

.

Click the 

Settings

 button to display the conversion settings.

The SyncIt! dialog appears containing three tabs: 

Video

, 

Audio

, and

 

Photo

.

Select the appropriate tab, and customize your conversion settings.

Click

 OK

.

5

Drag the files to be converted onto the SyncIt! application.

The application shows the conversion progress, and a message displays 
in the Status area when the conversion is complete.
