Maintenance
X935-24-00 Rev 108 V894CSH/V894WSH High-Security Cameras
Camera/Lens Positioning
The camera position can be adjusted in three axes, vertically (tilt), vertical height of the camera/lens
assembly and rotation about the lens axis (roll). Swivel the assembly for tilt position. The vertical height of the
camera/lens assembly can be adjusted by loosening the lock nut, changing the vertical position of the camera
mounting bracket within the slot in the mounting bracket and retightening the nut. The picture may be
“squared up” by rotating the camera about its own axis up to 360° (roll adjustment).
Note: After all adjustments are made, be sure to tighten all bracket screws.
Final Installation Steps
The last installation steps include repositioning the camera and fastening the outer cover in place.
1. If the camera was removed, rotated or tilted during the cable connection, reinstall the camera and adjust
until it is directed at about the center of the black mask on the inside of the housing window. Be certain
the lens doesn’t touch the window when reinstalling the cover. It is best if the picture from the camera can
be viewed on a monitor for this procedure in order to achieve the best positioning of the camera. Make
sure camera is oriented correctly; top of camera is labeled.
2. Secure the outer cover with the three (3) (V894CSH) or four (4) (V894WSH) tamperproof screws
provided. A screw locking compound such as Loctite™ is recommended. Save the special tool and the
two spare tamperproof screws.
Maintenance
The V894CSH and V894WSH require no maintenance except the occasional cleaning of the housing and
window. Use a soft cloth and plain soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleansers that can scratch the
window surface or the finish on the housing.
Fuse Replacement
There is a resettable fuse located on the back of the PCB in the housing.
