Operating the Roto
By this point, you should have your chair all set up and ready to go, but there’s a few other things
you need to know:
Tilting
Do you like to kick back and relax while gaming? The back of the chair on Roto can be
reclined slightly, allowing you to immerse yourself in that getaway holiday VR experience
just a little bit more.
Emergency Stop
There are two ways that the chair can be stopped in an emergency.
Firstly, using the emergency stop button. This will cut the connection to the motor, and the
chair will not turn. If the emergency stop button is used, the chair will need to be reset at
the base by flicking the switch on and off.
The second way to stop the chair in an emergency is to take the headset off. This cuts the
connection between the IR sensor on the headtracker, and the user’s head. The chair will
still be powered on but the headtracker will no longer be in headtracking mode.
In both instances, the headtracker will need to be recalibrated, as described in the
headtracker setup section.
