[7] - Step length for hot water
When the water is heated and the target temperature of the hot water (as set by the user) has been reached, when the booster
heater (BOH) is installed, it will continue to heat the water to a temperature several degrees above the target temperature
(OFF temperature booster heater T
BOH OFF
). These additional degrees are defined in the parameter setting of the step length
for hot water. The correct setting prevents the booster heater (BOH) from repeatedly switching on and off (clocking) while
maintaining the target temperature of the hot water.
The booster heater (BOH) switches on again when the hot water temperature falls 2 °C (fixed value) below the OFF temperature
for the booster heater (T
BOH OFF
).
The following setting options are available:
– [7-00] Step length for hot water: Temperature difference above the target temperature of the hot water before the
booster heater (BOH) is switched off.
– [7-01] Hysteresis value booster heater (BOH): the temperature difference, determined by the ON temperature of the
heat pump (T

).

Control on the basis of 2 target values:
Can only be used in installations with different target value sensors (e.g. 2. room thermostats), which are required for different
target values. These parameter settings allow for the use of 2 target values. However there is no display which indicates which
of the two target values is currently active.
– [7-02] Status: Do not change this setting. Leave the default setting as it is.
– [7-03] Second target value for heating: Do not change this setting. Leave the default setting as it is.
– [7-04] Second target value for cooling: Do not change this setting. Leave the default setting as it is.
When the integrated temperature control in the booster heater (BOH) switches the booster heater (BOH) off,
control by the HPSU compact only works if this temperature control system has switched the booster heater
(BOH) on again.
