walk on its power cord.
•

2.3. Electrical Restrictions
•
Use the plug that is provided with the display. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet,

PVC
sheathed three-core flexible cord, type H05VV-F3G, with a green/yellow protective earthing
conductor electrically connected to the protective earthing terminal within the equipment and
connected to the protective earthing contact of the plug. The cable set should have safety
approvals for the international installation and be marked HAR.
•
For plugged equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible.
•
Operate the display from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are
unsure of the type of power available, consult your dealer or local power company.
•
When your display is switched off, be aware that it still carries full line voltage. To completely
remove all voltages from the display, you must unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
2.4. Operating and Maintenance Guidelines
•
Keep the area around the iPC free from static electricity and magnetic fields. Before you touch
the display, discharge static electricity on your body by touching a metallic surface.
•
Operate the iPC only when the cover is in the closed position.
•
Do not turn the iPC on and off in rapid succession. Doing so might damage the configuration files
and other data on the hard disk.
•
Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions. Improper adjustment of
other controls might result in damage and often requires extensive work by a qualified technician
to restore the product to normal operation.
•
Unplug the iPC from the electrical outlet before cleaning. Clean the iPC periodically with a damp
cloth.
•
Prepare the iPC before moving it by taking the following actions:
-
Disconnect the iPC from the wall outlet.
-
Close the cabinet.
