Fiber Ethernet Switch Transceivers User Manual (Iss. 04)

Configuration • 9–11

To configure a Trunk Group

1.

From the 

Device View

, select the 

Setup

 tab.

FET-6945 — Configuring a Trunk Group

2.

Select the 

Enable Trunking

 check box.

3.

In the 

Port Enables

 area, select the required check boxes to activate the specified RJ45, 

and Fiber ports on your card.

4.

To configure a Trunk Group:

• Locate the 

Trunking

 area of the 

Setup

 tab.

• Select the applicable 

Trunk #

 check box for each port you wish to assign to that 

Trunk Group. The box displays a check-mark. Note that the number of ports 
depends on the card model.

5.

For each Trunk Group, repeat step 4.
