FED-6944 Overview
The FED-6944 series are a quad fiber, with three RJ-45 connection, and two port dual fiber SFPs.
This gives you five links (two fiber and three RJ-45) plus the Internal Link interface. Each card
uses two standard SFPs with an FP 1310nm laser and PIN receiver. High power and CWDM
transmitters are optional, as is a high sensitivity receiver.
The FED-6944 series requires the 8320AR-057 Full Rear Module which includes two LC duplex
connectors and three RJ-45 connectors.
CWDM and High Sensitivity Models
Options are also available with Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) transmitters,
or as a high sensitivity receiver. The high sensitivity models are indicated with an H in the model
number (e.g. FED-6944-27H). The CWDM models are identified with a two digit suffix as
indicated in
